Yesterday evening at the St. James 9/11 Memorial, a service was held to honor those lost on that fateful day, as well as for those who have since left us due to health related issues at the Trade Center.

Thanks to all who joined us and participated in the ceremony. Immediately afterwards, a second memorial service was held for St. James Fire Department Captain Douglas Oelschlager, who made the ultimate sacrifice on that day.

Thanks to our brothers & sisters from the Nesconset Fire Department for their huge turnout. Also thanks to the Smithtown HS Choir, the American Legion and the Pastors from our local churches who led us in prayer.
