Each holiday season, the St. James Fire Department Auxiliary has a cherished tradition of adopting a family in need and brightening their celebrations with generosity and care. This year, the Auxiliary took a meaningful new direction by choosing to support the veterans at the VA Hospital in Northport.

Thanks to the dedicated efforts and donations from our Auxiliary members, and the generosity of our Fire Fighters and EMS team, more than $1,000 was raised in cash and gift cards. In addition, the group, along with the many donations from FD members, collected hundreds of essential health items and clothing, all to be distributed to local veterans who need them most. These donations will provide much-needed comfort and support to those who have served our country, especially during the holiday season.

Thank you to the St. James Auxiliary for their incredible commitment, energy, and compassion. The spirit of giving is alive and well in our community because of their example.
