This past weekend saw two consecutive days of Ice Rescue Training. On the first day, a team of St. James Fire Department members trained under the guidance of Past Chief and Smithtown Harbor Master Mike Grayson at Cordwood Beach.

The second day of training took place at Long Beach, where members of the Nissequogue Fire Department and Kings Park Fire Department joined the session. Assistance was provided by the Smithtown Harbor Masters. These training activities ensure teams are prepared and ready to respond when needed.
