ST. JAMES FIRE DEPARTMENT CASH INFERNO Terms and Conditions:
This raffle, dubbed the SJFD CASH INFERNO, is being conducted by the St. James Fire Department, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and a related but distinct entity from the St. James Fire District. All proceeds from this raffle will directly support the St. James Fire Department (hereinafter SJFD) in its efforts to maintain and enhance fire safety services for our community.

1. Eligibility:
• Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of ticket purchase.
• By entering the raffle, participants agree to abide by these terms & conditions.
• Each ticket donation is $75 and a maximum of 750 tickets are sold. Each
ticket is numbered 0001 -750.
• Tickets may be purchased online or by SJFD representatives.
• SJFD accepts Venmo, PayPal, personal checks, and money orders. The easiest way to purchase your tickets is through the “ Zeffy ” QR code that’s available through flyers and the official SJFD website. You can also click on this link: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/cash-inferno
• If less than 750 tickets have been sold by the date of drawing; prizes equal to:
53.3% of ticket receipts will be awarded. Should all tickets be sold, the prizes will be as
noted below.
2. Prize Details:
• Prizes breakdown as follows:
Grand Prize - $10,000
2nd Prize - $5,000
3rd Prize - $2,500
5 Prizes - $1,000
5 Prizes - $750
5 Prizes - $500
5 Prizes - $250
Total of 23 Prizes are valued at $30,000.
• All prizes are non-transferable and will be issued in check form.
• All winners are required to provide official government photo identification to
receive prizes and tax reporting information where required. All winners will receive a 1099 form for all prizes exceeding $599.
• Winners are solely responsible for all taxes, fees, and other expenses
associated with the prize acceptance and use not specified herein as being
provided.
3. Raffle Drawing:
• The drawing will take place on September 25, 2027 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM,
at the SJFD, 221 Jefferson Avenue St. James N.Y. 11780.
• Food and refreshments will be served to all in attendance, including
entertainment such as a live band or DJ.
• All participant contact information will be placed on a distribution list for future
event notifications, participant information will not be shared or sold.• Winners do not need to be present to win.
Each ticket permits 2 adults over the age of 18, the ticket holder and one guest, entrance to the CASH INFERNO.
Drawing Supporter Party Event.
• The drawing will be conducted by a member of the St. James Fire Department.
• Winners will be selected randomly.
• Winners will be notified by email or phone.
• Only certified service animals will be permitted during the event.
• By attending/entering the event, participants are agreeing to be image
recorded for marketing and security purposes.
5. General Conditions:
• The SJFD reserves the right to cancel, suspend, and/or modify the raffle,
or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factors beyond the
SJFD’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the
raffle, as determined by the SJFD in its sole discretion.
• Participation in the raffle constitutes winner's consent to the SJFD and its
agents use of winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions, and/or
hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, without
further payment or consideration.
6. Liability Limitations:
• The SJFD Fire is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information,
whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or by any of the
equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the raffle.
• By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the SJFD
and its respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against
any claim or cause of action arising out of participation in the raffle or receipt or
use of any prize.
7. Disputes:
• Participants agree that any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action
arising out of, or connected with, the raffle or any prize awarded shall be
resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
