CASH INFERNO

This raffle, called the SJFD CASH INFERNO, is conducted by the St. James Fire Department, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and an entity related to but distinct from the St. James Fire District. All proceeds directly support the St. James Fire Department in its efforts to maintain and enhance fire safety services for the community.

• Participants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of ticket purchase and agree to these terms.
• Each ticket donation is $75. A maximum of 750 tickets will be sold. Tickets are numbered 0001–750.
• Tickets may be purchased online or from SJFD representatives. SJFD accepts Venmo, PayPal, personal checks and money orders. The easiest way to purchase is through the Zeffy QR code on flyers and the official SJFD website, or purchase through Zeffy.
• If fewer than 750 tickets have been sold by the drawing date, 53.3% of ticket receipts will be awarded. If all tickets are sold, the prizes listed below will be awarded.

• Grand Prize: $10,000; Second Prize: $5,000; Third Prize: $2,500.
• Five prizes of $1,000; five prizes of $750; five prizes of $500; and five prizes of $250.
• The total of 23 prizes is valued at $30,000 if all tickets are sold.
• All prizes are non-transferable and will be issued by check.
• Winners must provide official government photo identification to receive prizes and tax reporting information where required. Winners will receive a 1099 form for prizes exceeding $599.
• Winners are responsible for taxes, fees and other expenses associated with prize acceptance and use unless specified as provided.

• The drawing will take place September 25, 2027, from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the SJFD, 221 Jefferson Avenue, St. James, NY 11780.
• Food and refreshments will be served to attendees, with entertainment such as a live band or DJ.
• Participant contact information will be placed on a distribution list for future event notifications and will not be shared or sold.
• Winners do not need to be present. Each ticket permits two adults over age 18—the ticket holder and one guest—to attend the CASH INFERNO Drawing Supporter Party event.
• The drawing will be conducted by an SJFD member. Winners will be selected randomly and notified by email or phone.
• Only certified service animals are permitted during the event.
• By attending or entering the event, participants agree to be image-recorded for marketing and security purposes.

The SJFD reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the raffle, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failures or other factors beyond its reasonable control impair the integrity or proper functioning of the raffle, as determined by the SJFD in its sole discretion.

Participation constitutes the winner's consent to the SJFD and its agents' use of the winner's name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media worldwide, without further payment or consideration.

• The SJFD is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, tampering, hacking, or equipment or programming associated with or used in the raffle.
• By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the SJFD and its officers, directors, employees and agents from claims or causes of action arising from participation in the raffle or receipt or use of a prize.

Participants agree that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with the raffle or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action.
